Why Choose Us?
🎻 A Proven Approach, Backed by Pedagogical Greatness
Our teaching is rooted in the legendary traditions of Dr. D.C. Dounis and Ivan Galamian—two of the greatest minds in violin pedagogy.
Dr. D.C. Dounis decoded the natural techniques used by violin prodigies and built a system for teaching them to others.
Ivan Galamian, former head of the Juilliard violin department, trained many of the world’s leading violinists with his structured, technique-focused approach.
We combine these time-tested methods with personalized instruction to help you or your child progress efficiently and joyfully—whether you're learning for fun or aiming for mastery.

FAQs
-
We teach all styles of violin playing including: Classical, Pop, Country, Bluegrass, Irish Fiddling, Jazz Violin, and more.
-
Yes! From the very beginning, you will need an instrument so that you can practice on your own in between lessons. If you have not yet purchased a violin, we can assist you in selecting a good instrument within your budget.
Children need to be sized for an appropriately sized instrument. A child playing on a violin that is too big can be physically harmful and make violin playing unenjoyable and difficult.
If you aren’t currently ready to buy an instrument, we also offer rental violins to our in-person students for $20 / Month.
-
No. Beginners are welcome!
-
Generally, we recommend to wait until a child is 5 years old before starting the violin.
Younger students may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
